When two people decide to spend the rest of eternity together, it is a good tradition to make gifts and whish them well.\\ But a simple gift is just that: simple.\\ Being a geek type, I have to make things complicated, for example by making a special packaging for the gift. The "making" aspect is important here. It can have results that make the packaging the actual gift. In the case of the [[http://www.hase.net/tobykiste | wooden box with Brio-Labyrinth lock]] I made for Toby, the box is really just a packaging and has no other use - aprt from entertaining all the kids present at the wedding and keeping them busy for two hours (which may be considered a gift in itself :-) In the case of the [[http://www.hase.net/annabarbara | self-raising desklamp]] for Anna-Barbara, the "packaging" became a gift in its own right. The content was my brothers and my mothers gifts to the young couple.
